Summary

An Act To Amend Section 27-7-18, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize An Adjustment To Gross Income Under The State Income Tax Law For A Taxpayer Who Is A Licensed Physician And Provides Any Medical Service Or Treatment For Which The Taxpayer Receives No Compensation; To Provide That The Amount Of The Adjustment To Gross Income Will Be Equal To The Amount Of Payment The Taxpayer Would Have Received If Payment For The Service Or Treatment Were Made Under The State Plan For Medical Assistance Under Medicaid; And For Related Purposes.
