Summary
An Act To Amend Section 37-13-91, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Include The Absences Of A Compulsory-school-age Child Whose Parent Or Legal Guardian Is Being Deployed Or Returning From Deployment On Leave Within The Category Of Excused Absences; To Require That Those Compulsory-school-age Children Be Granted Up To A Maximum Of Five Excused Absences Per School Year For Purposes Of Visiting With His Or Her Parent Or Legal Guardian Before The Parent's Or Legal Guardian's Extended Overseas Deployment Or During A Return On Leave From An Extended Overseas Deployment; And For Related Purposes.
