Summary
An Act To Amend Section 99-19-71, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Procedure For Expungement; To Require The Administrative Office Of Courts To Create A Standard Expungement Petition Form For The Purpose Of Allowing Any Person To File His Or Her Petition For Expungement Without An Attorney, And To Provide The Notice To The District Attorney; To Amend Sections 99-15-59, 99-15-123, 99-15-57 And 21-23-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Section; To Bring Forward Section 99-19-72, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provides The Filing Fees For Expungement Petitions; And For Related Purposes.
