Summary

An Act To Authorize The Issuance Of A Distinctive License Tag Honoring Fallen Law Enforcement Officers And Designating The Motor Vehicle Owner As A Supporter Of The Law Enforcement Officers And Fire Fighters Death Benefits Trust Fund; To Amend Section 27-19-44, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Exempt The Distinctive License Tag From The Requirement That In Order For The Tag To Be Produced, Proof That A Certain Number Of The Tags Will Be Purchased And An Amount Necessary To Pay For The Tags Must Be Submitted To The Department Of Revenue Within Three Years Of The Tag's Authorization; And For Related Purposes.
