Summary

An Act To Amend Sections 27-13-5 And 27-13-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide A Temporary Corporation Franchise Tax Exemption For Forestry Industry Enterprises That Perform The Initial Processing Of Pine Logs Or Hardwood Logs In The Production Of Lumber Products Or Are Engaged In The Production Of Poles Or Timbers And That Have Employed An Average Of Not Less Than Fifteen Employees During The Most Recent Thirty-six-month Period Ending On December 31 Of The Immediately Preceding Calendar Year; To Amend Section 27-13-63, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; And For Related Purposes.
