Summary

An Act To Create New Code Section 49-7-31.6, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Commission On Wildlife, Fisheries And Parks To Set And Establish The Season For Hunting Deer On Certain Private Lands; To Require A Hunter On Those Lands To Have A Valid Hunting License; To Authorize The Commission To Establish The Bag Limit On Deer Taken On Those Lands; To Allow Hunters Hunting On Those Lands To Select Their Weapon Of Choice When Hunting; To Require Hunters To Wear Hunter Orange When Hunting On Those Lands; To Provide That The Commission's Authority To Regulate Hunting On Public Lands, Wildlife Management Areas And Certain Private Lands Not Abrogated; To Amend Sections 49-7-31 And 49-7-41, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Provisions Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.
