An Act To Amend Section 47-5-10, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Department Of Corrections To Develop Formal Qualifications For Correctional Officers That Will Assist In Ensuring That Experienced Officers Are Employed By The Department; To Require The State Personnel Board To Develop And Promulgate A Recommended Salary Scale And Career Ladder For Such Officers; And For Related Purposes.
