An Act To Amend Section 25-11-305, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Any Person Who Becomes A Member Of The State Legislature For The First Time On Or After July 1, 2013, And Any Person Who Becomes The President Of The Senate For The First Time On Or After July 1, 2013, Shall Not Become A Member Of The Supplemental Legislative Retirement Plan; To Provide That Any Person Who Became A Member Of The State Legislature For The First Time On Or After January 1, 2012, And Before July 1, 2013, And The Person Who Became The President Of The Senate For The First Time On Or After January 1, 2012, And Before July 1, 2013, Shall Not Be A Member Of The Plan From And After July 1, 2013; To Provide That Those Persons Shall Not Receive Any Service Credit For The Time That They Were Members Of The Plan, But They May Receive A Refund Of The Amount Of Their Accumulated Contributions, Or Have An Eligible Rollover Distribution Of Their Accumulated Contributions Paid Directly To An Eligible Retirement Plan Or An Individual Retirement Account; To Amend Section 25-11-311, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Provisions; And For Related Purposes.
