Summary
An Act To Amend Section 37-7-321, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify That Whenever A School District Employs Security Personnel And Designates Such Personnel As A Peace Officer, Then The Security Personnel Has The Power To Make Arrests Upon School Property; To Provide That If Such Security Personnel Is Assaulted On School Property, Then The Person Who Commits The Assault Is Criminally Liable As If He Or She Committed An Assault Upon A Peace Officer; To Amend Section 37-7-323, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Provisions Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.
