Summary
An Act To Amend Section 37-13-91, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Provisions Of The Mississippi Compulsory School Attendance Law Are Fully Applicable To Kindergarten-age Children; To Require Such Kindergarten-age Children To Attend Licensed Public, Parochial, Nonpublic Or Homeschool Kindergarten Programs; To Revise The Definition Of The Term "compulsory-school-age Child" To Include Children Who Attain The Age Of Five Years On Or Before September 1 Under The Compulsory School Attendance Law; To Amend Sections 37-7-339 And 37-41-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Preceding Provisions; And For Related Purposes.
