Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-19-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Include Certified Academic Language Therapists In The Category Of Professionals Eligible For An Annual Salary Supplement Provided Such Therapists Are Clinically Certified By The American Language Therapy Association; To Remove The Requirement That The Annual Salary Supplement Paid To National Board Certified Teachers, Nurses, Counselors And Speech-language Pathologists Employed By A Public School District Shall Be Subject To Legislative Appropriation; And For Related Purposes.
