Summary
An Act To Amend Section 27-7-17, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Define The Term "captive Reit" For Purposes Of The State Income Tax Deduction Authorized For Dividend Distributions Made By A Real Estate Investment Trust And To Revise The Application Of The Deduction With Regard To A Captive Reit; To Revise The Definition Of The Terms "intangible Property" And "interest Expenses And Cost" And To Define The Terms "management And Administrative Fees" And "subchapter K Entity" For Purposes Of Restrictions On The Deduction Of Certain Expenses Incurred In Connection With Transactions With Related Members And To Revise Certain Provisions Regarding The Deduction; And For Related Purposes.
