Summary

An Act To Amend Section 43-21-605, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Disposition Alternatives Under The Youth Court Act By Providing That Only Youth Who Have Been Adjudicated Delinquent For Committing A Felony May Be Committed To The Oakley Youth Development Center; To Allow For Reduction In The Time Of Notice To The Committing Court Of A Child's Release If The Release Is To Manage The Facility Population Of The Center; And For Related Purposes.
