Summary

An Act To Amend Section 31-5-51, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Increase To $50,000.00 The Amount Of A Contract Between A Public Body And A Contractor For Which A Performance Bond Or Payment Bond Will Not Be Required; To Provide That For Those Contracts, The Owners May Elect To Make Two Payments Valued At Fifty Percent Of The Contract Amount, And The Final Payment Will Not Be Made Until Completion And Acceptance By The Public Body; And For Related Purposes.
