Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-3-2, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The State Department Of Education To Determine The Optimum Minimum Scores On The Act And Praxis Examinations Which Will Qualify The Greatest Number Of Persons To Be Licensed As Teachers Without Jeopardizing The Quality And Professionalism Of Educators In Mississippi; To Require The Department To Revise The Minimum Qualifications Based Upon Its Findings; And For Related Purposes.
