Summary

An Act To Provide Leave From Employment Procedures For Military Personnel; To Define Certain Terms; To Provide Guidelines For Employees Desiring To Take A Military Leave Of Absence; To Provide That Health Care Benefits Shall Be Continued During A Military Leave Of Absence; To Prohibit The Refusal Of Public Accommodations To Persons Serving On Active Duty In The Armed Forces Of The United States Or The National Guard; To Amend Section 13-5-25, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Exempt Citizens Serving On Active Duty In The Armed Forces Of The United States Or The National Guard From Jury Service; To Amend Section 33-3-11, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Direct The Adjutant General To Assist In Carrying Out The Provisions Of This Act; To Amend Section 33-4-1, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Use Of The Mississippi Military Family Relief Fund; And For Related Purposes.
