Summary
An Act To Amend Section 37-13-80, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Office Of Dropout Prevention To Enter Into Memorandum Of Agreements With Certain Not-for-profit Organizations And Other Entities To Form A Public-private Partnership For The Establishment Of Pilot Programs To Reduce The Dropout Rate In School Districts Throughout The State; To Limit The Number Of Pilot Programs Established To Three In Districts Selected By The State Department Of Education Using Criteria Formulated For School Districts For Purposes Of Determining Participation In An Established Pilot Program; To Amend Section 37-3-46, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Preceding Provision; And For Related Purposes.
