Summary

An Act To Reenact Sections 57-97-1 Through 57-97-23, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Also Known As The "mississippi Delta Region Revitalization Act Of 2006," Which Were Repealed By Operation Of Law On July 1, 2009; To Amend Reenacted Section 57-97-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize Persons Serving On The Special Task Force For Revitalization Of The Mississippi Delta Region When These Sections Were Repealed To Resume Service On The Task Force When The Statutes Are Enacted; To Codify New Section 57-97-25, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Place The Repealer On The Mississippi Delta Region Revitalization Act In The Mississippi Code And Extend The Date Of The Repealer; To Amend Section 13, Chapter 444, Laws Of 2006, To Delete The Repealer On The Mississippi Delta Region Revitalization Act From The Effective Date Section Of The Enacting Legislation; And For Related Purposes.
