Summary

An Act To Provide That Upon The Termination Of Employment Or Death Of Any Law Enforcement Officer Or Other Law Enforcement Staff Who Works For The Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol Or The Department Of Corrections, The Department Of Public Safety Or The Department Of Corrections, Respectively, Shall Pay The Officer Or Employee Or His Or Her Estate, As Appropriate, For All Compensatory Leave Accumulated By The Officer Or Employee; To Amend Section 25-9-119, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Provisions; To Amend Section 19-25-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require A Board Of Supervisors To Pay Sheriffs And Deputies For Compensatory Time Upon Termination Or Death; And For Related Purposes.
