Summary

An Act To Provide That When A Lien Is Placed On The Property Of A Property Owner And The Lien Is The Result Of A Third Party's Fraudulent Or Otherwise Prohibited Activity Related To The Incurring Of Debt Or Other Financial Obligation In The Name Of The Property Owner And Without The Knowledge Of The Property Owner, The Burden For The Lien And The Underlying Debt Or Other Financial Obligation Shall Not Be Placed On The Property Owner, But Shall Be Placed On The Third Party; To Bring Forward Section 11-7-191, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Relates To Property Lien Enrolled Judgments, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
