Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-3-2, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Exempt Any Educator Who Has Accrued Twenty-five Or More Years Of Teaching Experience As A Licensed Educator In The State Of Mississippi, Or In Any State With Which The State Of Mississippi Has Reciprocity And Presently Applying For Licensure In This State, From The Requirement Of Presenting Documentation Of Continuing Education Units (ceus) Or Semester Hours In Content Or Skill Related Area, Or Both Ceus And Semester Hours, Necessary For License Renewal, Or In Cases Reciprocity, Initial Issuance, Dependent Upon The Classification Of Educator License Sought; And For Related Purposes.
