Summary
An Act To Amend Section 23-15-859, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize Any Municipality With A Population Of 2,500 Residents Or Less To Conduct A Special Election For Any Issue Or Candidate At One Centralized Polling Place; To Amend Section 23-15-557, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Section; To Amend Section 23-15-300, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Any Individual Having Met The Two-year Residency Requirement For Municipal Or County Office, Shall Only Reside In The Ward Of District Of Representation At The Time Of Qualifying For Such Office; And For Related Purposes.
