Summary
An Act To Authorize The Governing Authorities Of The City Of Ridgeland, Mississippi, To Impose An Additional Tourism Tax Of One Percent (1%) On The Gross Proceeds Derived From Hotel And Motel Room Rentals Within The City And To Expend The Proceeds Of The Tax For The Promotion And Improving Of Tourism For Enhancing Recreational And Parks Facilities And Ancillary Improvements Of Such Facilities; To Provide That The Tax Shall Be Collected By The Department Of Revenue And Paid To The City Of Ridgeland; To Provide For An Election On Whether The Additional Tax May Be Levied; And For Related Purposes.
