Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-9-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Qualifications Of Individuals Selected To The Office Of Superintendents Of School, Whether Elected Or Appointed; To Provide That Elected Superintendents Shall Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelors Degree From An Accredited Institution Of Higher Learning; To Provide That Appointed Superintendent Shall Meet The Minimum Qualifications Established For Such By The Board Of The Local School District Making The Appointment; To Amend Section 37-3-2, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Preceding Provisions; And For Related Purposes.
