Summary
An Act To Amend Section 27-51-41, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide An Ad Valorem Tax Exemption On A Motor Vehicle Owned By A Person Who Is In Active Service As A Volunteer Fire Fighter And Has Continuously Served In Such Capacity For At Least One Year Before Making Application For The Tax Exemption Authorized In This Act; To Bring Forward Section 27-51-42.2, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Authorizes County Boards Of Supervisors To Grant A Partial Ad Valorem Tax Exemption On Motor Vehicle Owned By Persons Who Are Volunteer Firefighters, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
