Summary

An Act To Create The Mississippi Parental Responsibility Act Of 2026; To Make Certain Findings And To Declare That The Purpose Of The Act Is To Better Equip Parents To Participate With Schools In The Education Of Their Children; To Require The State Department Of Education To Develop And Administer A Program Designed To Increase Parental Involvement In Schools; To Authorize The Department To Use Any Funding Otherwise Available For Components Of The Program; And For Related Purposes.
