Summary
An Act To Amend Section 27-65-21, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Upon Every Person Engaging Or Continuing In This State In The Business Of Contracting Or Performing A Contract Of Completing An Oil Well Or A Gas Well, There Is Levied, Assessed And Shall Be Collected A Tax Equal To Three And One-half Percent Of The Total Contract Price Or Compensation Received When Such Compensation Exceeds Ten Thousand Dollars; And For Related Purposes.
