Summary

An Act To Amend Section 29-15-1, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Definitions Of The Terms "submerged Lands" And "tidelands" For The Purpose Of The Public Trust Tidelands Law To Specify That The Terms Do Not Include Lands Or Areas That Are Acquired By Municipalities By Purchase, Deed, Donation, Gift, Grant, Reclamation, Lease, Dedication, Or Otherwise Permitted Under Section 59-15-1, As Long As No Establishment Is Located On Lands That Requires A Gaming License, And As Long As The Lands Are Maintained Or Being Restored And Not Abandoned By A Municipality For Use Permitted Under Section 59-15-1; To Bring Forward Section 29-1-107, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Relates To Gaming Establishments And Public Trust Tidelands, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
