An Act To Create The Early Graduation Achievement Act Of 2013; To Establish The "early Graduation Achievement Scholarship Program," Which Shall Be Implemented By The State Department Of Education; To Provide That Any Secondary School Student Who Has Completed All Required Courses And Standards For Graduation May Graduate Before The Completion Of The School Year Upon Receiving Certain Approval; To Provide For The Allocation Of Mississippi Adequate Education Program Funds To School Districts For Those Students Participating In The Program; To Prescribe The Maximum Amount Of The Scholarships That May Be Provided To Students Completing The Program Within Certain Amounts Of Time; To Require Scholarship Recipients To Attend An Accredited State Institution Of Higher Learning; To Require That Certain Procedures Be Followed By The Student And The State Department Of Education For Verification Of Completed Graduation Requirements And The Issuance Of Certificates Of Scholarship Funds; To Provide An Allocation Of Additional Funds Under The Adequate Education Program To The State Department Of Education And To Authorize The Department To Transfer Certain Funds Appropriated To That Program To The Early Graduation Achievement Scholarship Program Trust Fund For The Purpose Of Providing Scholarships To Qualifying Students And Funding The Trust Fund Until It Reaches A Certain Sustainable Amount; To Establish The Early Graduation Achievement Scholarship Program Trust Fund In The State Treasury And Provide For Its Administration; To Amend Section 37-151-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Provisions Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.
