Summary

An Act To Amend Section 41-4-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Minimum Standards And Services Prescribed By The State Board Of Mental Health For Certification Of County Facilities Used For Temporarily Housing Mental Health Patients Shall Not Require That The Initial Assessment Of Those Persons Be Performed By A Psychiatrist, Unless There Is A Psychiatrist Available In The County At The Time The Assessment Is To Be Performed; To Amend Section 41-21-77, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Provision; And For Related Purposes.
