Summary

An Act To Authorize The Governing Authorities Of The City Of Brookhaven, Mississippi, To Levy A Tax Upon The Gross Proceeds Of Sales Of Bed And Breakfast Inns, Hotels And Motels Derived From Room Rentals; To Provide That The Revenue From The Tax Shall Be Expended By The City Of Brookhaven For The Purpose Of Promoting Tourism And Economic Development Within The City; To Provide That The Tax Shall Be Collected By The Department Of Revenue And Paid To The City Of Brookhaven; And For Related Purposes.
