Summary

An Act To Amend Section 9-11-4, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Administrative Office Of Courts To Develop A Training Plan For The Justice Court Judges Of This State; To Provide That Justice Court Judges Shall Not Be Required To Complete The Training Plan Developed By The Administrative Office Of Courts, But Any Judge Who Completes Such Training Shall Receive A Ten Percent Increase In His Or Her Salary; To Provide That Such Salary Increase Shall Take Effect On October 1 One Year After The Justice Court Judge Has Completed The Training; To Amend Sections 9-21-3 And 25-3-36, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Section; To Bring Forward Section 9-11-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
