Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-151-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify The Method By Which The State Department Of Education Calculates Allocations To School Districts Under The Mississippi Adequate Education Program And To Revise The Adjustment To The Base Student Cost For At-risk Students; To Amend Section 37-151-8, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The State Board Of Education To Adopt Additional Rules And Regulations Relating To At-risk Funding And Establishing An Auditable And Weighted Formula For Determining At-risk Funding Allocations; And For Related Purposes.
