Summary
An Act To Amend Section 97-3-82, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Create The Crime Of Sextortion By Prohibiting The Obtaining Of Sexual Acts And Sexually Explicit Images By Means Of Extortion; To Amend Sections 97-45-1, 97-45-9 And 97-45-15, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Define The Term "coercion" As Used Under The Computer Crime Statutes And To Create Specific Offenses Relating To Intellectual Property And Cyberstalking Involving Sexual Acts And Sexually Explicit Images; To Amend Sections 97-3-65, 97-3-95, 97-3-97 And 97-3-101, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Define The Term "coercion" As Used In Relation To Statutory Rape And Sexual Battery And To Specifically Prohibit Certain Acts Through The Use Of Coercion; To Amend Sections 97-29-61 And 97-29-63, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Prohibit Specific Acts Of Voyeurism And Filming Others Having An Expectation Of Privacy By Inducing A Victim Through Coercion; To Amend Section 45-33-23, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require Persons Convicted Pursuant To The Preceding Provisions Of This Act To Register Under The Sex Offender Registration Laws; And For Related Purposes.
