An Act To Amend Section 27-104-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Public Procurement Review Board To Adopt Regulations To Set Aside At Least Five Percent (5%) Of Anticipated Annual Expenditures For The Purchase Of Commodities From Minority Businesses; To Provide That Businesses Owned By Veterans And Businesses Owned By People With Disabilities Shall Also Be Eligible For The Set-asides; To Amend Section 31-7-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Amend The Public Purchasing Law To Require Any Agency Or Governing Authority To Set Aside Not More Than Twenty Percent (20%) Of Its Anticipated Annual Expenditures For The Purchase Of Commodities From Minority Businesses; To Provide That Businesses Owned By Veterans And Businesses Owned By People With Disabilities Shall Also Be Eligible For The Set-asides; And For Related Purposes.
