An Act To Amend Sections 37-13-81, 37-13-85, 37-13-87 And 37-13-89, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Transfer The Responsibility For Employing And Establishing The Duties Of School Attendance Officers From The State Department Of Education To Local School Districts; To Require The Department To Transfer All Funds Appropriated For School Attendance Officers To Local School Districts By July 15 Of Each Year; To Require School Attendance Officers To Maintain Regular Office Hours, Beginning With The Date Of Their Return From Designated Leave Until The Last Day Prior To The Attendance Officer's Designated Leave Is Scheduled To Begin; To Amend Section 37-13-91, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; To Bring Forward Sections 37-13-83 And 37-9-17, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendments; And For Related Purposes.
