Summary

An Act To Establish The Mississippi Hospital Emergency Grant Program For The Purpose Of Providing Funds To Hospitals That Are Having Financial Difficulties To Assist The Hospitals In Providing Needed Direct Health Care Services; To Provide That The Program Will Be Administered By The State Department Of Health; To Provide The Eligibility And Application Requirements For A Hospital Seeking A Grant Under The Program; To Create A Special Fund In The State Treasury To Be Known As The Hospital Emergency Grant Fund; To Require The Department To Submit An Annual Report About The Distribution Of Grant Funds For Each Grant Awarded Under The Program; And For Related Purposes.
