An Act To Amend Section 23-15-297, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require Independent And Special Election Candidates To Pay Qualifying Fees And To Revise The Qualifying Fees For Certain Offices; To Amend Section 23-15-299, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Establish The Deadline For Independent And Special Election Candidates To Pay Their Assessment Fees And To Whom Such Fees Must Be Paid; To Amend Section 23-15-359, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Provisions; To Bring Forward Sections 23-15-309 And 23-15-361, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
