Summary

An Act To Require The County Tax Assessors To Annually Submit To The State Department Of Education Certain Information Relating To The Assessed Value Of Property Which Is Used By The Department In Determining The Amount That Each School District Must Contribute Toward The Cost Of The Mississippi Adequate Education Program; To Require The State Department Of Education To Make A Form Available To The Tax Assessors For The Submission Of The Reports; To Amend Sections 37-151-7 And 37-151-99, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Provisions Of This Act; To Bring Forward Section 37-151-97, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Relates To The Annual Reporting Of Certain Information To The State Department Of Education, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
