Summary
An Act To Amend Section 37-19-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Effective With The 2023-2024 School Year, Any Licensed Teacher Employed In A Public School District In An Area Designated By The State Board Of Education As A Geographically Critical Teacher Shortage Area Shall Receive An Annual Salary Supplement In The Amount Of $2,000.00, To Provide That Teachers Currently Receiving An Annual Salary Supplement For National Board Certification Shall Not Be Disqualified From Receiving The New $2,000.00 Annual Salary Supplement; And For Related Purposes.
