An Act To Create New Section 37-135-17, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Governor To Submit Written Notice Of Withdrawal From The Compact On Education With Education Commission Of States To Governors Of All Other Party States To The Compact Upon The Effective Date Of This Act; To Provide For The Repeal Of Sections 37-135-11, 37-135-13 And 37-135-15, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Make Up The Compact For Education, Require The Filing Of Copies Of Bylaws And Amendments, And Establish The Mississippi Education Council On July 1, 2017; To Bring Forward Sections 37-135-11, 37-135-13 And 37-135-15, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
