AN ACT

To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of donate life month in Missouri.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.193, to read as follows:

            9.193. The month of April each year is hereby designated as "Donate Life Month" in the state of Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to observe the month with appropriate activities and events to increase public awareness of the need for organ donation and organ donors.
