AN ACT

To amend chapter 262, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the right to raise animals.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 262, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 262.005, to read as follows:

            262.005. The citizens of the state of Missouri shall have a right to raise animals in a humane manner which promotes the animals' health and survival without the state imposing an undue economic burden on their owners.
