AN ACT
To authorize the conveyance of certain property to the City of Farmington.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section 1. The governor is hereby authorized and empowered to sell, transfer, grant and convey all interest in the following described real property owned by the state in St. Francois County to the City of Farmington, to wit:
A tract of land located in the City of Farmington, County of St. Francois and the state of Missouri, lying in a part of Lots 76, 77, and 80 of F.W. Rohland Subdivision of United States Survey 2969, a Subdivision files for record in Deed Book F at Page 441 of the Land records of St. Francois County, Missouri, described as follows, to-wit:
Commencing at a found No. 5 rebar marking the Northwest corner of Lot 62 of said F.W. Rohland Subdivision; thence South 36°46̓lO” West l905.10̓to a found right-of-way marker on the South right-of-way of Columbia Street (Missouri Highway 221) and the Northwest corner of the United States Army Reserve Center, the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract herein described: thence along the West line of said Army Reserve Center South 24°38̓52” East 498.03̓ to a found No. 5 rebar marking the Southwest corner of said Army Reserve Center; thence South 16°01̓44” West 238.03̓ to a point, thence South 25°42̓29” West 2024.68̓ to a point; thence North 8l°56̓1l” West 30.03̓ to a point on the East right-of-way of U.S. Highway 67; thence along said East right-of-way of said Highway 67 North 03°47̓30” East 36.31̓ to a point; thence continuing along said East right-of-way North 14°42̓22” East 131.51̓ to a point; thence continuing along said East right-of-way 03°26̓38” West 201.66̓ to a found right-of-way marker; thence continuing along said East right-of-way North 03°45̓45” East 952.l8̓ to a point; thence continuing along said East right-of-way North 12°l9̓49" East 961.53̓ to a found right-of-way marker on the East right-of-way of U.S. Highway 72 and the South right-of-way of Columbia Street (Missouri Highway 221); thence along said South right-of-way North 40°51̓OO” East 127.36̓ to a found right-of-way marker; thence continuing along said South right-of-way North 59°52̓29” East 300.57̓ to the point of beginning. Containing 23.96 acres, more or less. Being part of Deed Book 343 at Page 441.
Section 2. Consideration for the conveyance shall be as negotiated between the parties.
Section 3. The attorney general shall approve as to form the instrument of conveyance.
