AN ACT
To repeal section 227.410, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the designation of a memorial highway.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Section 227.410, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 227.410, to read as follows:
227.410. [The portion of U.S. Highway 160 in Greene County from the intersection of Farm Road 142 to the intersection of West Sunshine Street shall be designated the "Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel Memorial Highway".] The portion of U.S. Highway 160 in Greene County from the intersection of West Mount Vernon Street to one-half mile south of the intersection of West Sunshine Street shall be designated the "Simon Wiesenthal Memorial Highway". The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs for such designation to be paid for by private donation.
