SB 973 - This act establishes the "Truth in Medicine Act" and requires all organizations that provide pregnancy-related services or counseling, in order to receive state funding, to provide medically accurate and unbiased information on all relevant reproductive health options, including, but not limited to, information about birth control, pregnancy, abortion, adoption, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.

An organization providing pregnancy-related services or counseling that violates the provisions of this act shall not be eligible to receive any state funding or tax incentives, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds or tax credits.

This act is identical to HB 2261 (2022), SB 447 (2021), SB 790 (2020), SB 216 (2019), and SB 670 (2018), substantially similar to HB 2261 (2022), and similar to HB 236 (2017).
