1.2congratulating Will Manderfeld of St. Michael, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement that is worthy
1.6of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Will Manderfeld is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 547 and has displayed
1.8the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community service
1.10project, which involved leading a team that built new customized bat and helmet racks for the baseball field
1.11dugouts at Lion's Park in Albertville; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Albertville City
1.13Hall; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Will Manderfeld of St. Michael, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a copy of this
1.17resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the Senate Rules and
1.18Administration Committee, and transmit it to Will Manderfeld.
