1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Isaac F. Loegering of Crookston, Minnesota, for receiving
1.3the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Isaac F. Loegering is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 41 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved serving the handicapped clients of Sun, Country,
1.11and You, a nonprofit organization that provides therapy to people with physical and mental
1.12disabilities, assisting clients in growing their own food as well as therapy with gardening and food
1.13preparation, and leading the troop in constructing and installing four raised garden beds and four
1.14chicken nesting boxes for egg production; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Isaac F. Loegering of Crookston, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Isaac F. Loegering.
