1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Benjamin Larson of St. Paul, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Benjamin Larson is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project which involved power washing and cleaning all the tables and chairs
1.11in the social hall and school cafeteria at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church; and
1.12WHEREAS, he became an Eagle Scout on January 4, 2014, and an Eagle Court of Honor
1.13will be held; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Benjamin Larson of St. Paul, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Benjamin Larson.
