1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to Dakota County; extending interest in lands occupied by Minnesota
1.3Zoo.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. INTEREST IN LANDS EXTENDED.
1.6Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, Dakota County's reversionary interests in
1.7lands deeded by Dakota County to the state of Minnesota, as contemplated by Laws 1975,
1.8chapter 382, and currently maintained and used for the purposes of a state zoological
1.9garden in Apple Valley, Minnesota, to wit, those lands described in documents recorded in
1.10the Dakota County Property Records Office as Document No. 433980 and Document No.
1.11439719, excluding lands subject to that certain quit claim deed recorded as Document No.
1.121246646 and excluding lands subject to that certain quit claim deed recorded as Document
1.13No. 1330383, are extended and remain permanently valid and operative.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon compliance by the Dakota
1.15County Board of Commissioners with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, section
1.16645.021.
